Waysides

The Blackstone River powered America’s entry into the Age of Industry. The Henley Company provided planning and design of 36 wayside exhibits interpreting the history, science, and environmental impacts of the mills along the Blackstone River. The work included historic research and the creation of several original illustrations, including cut-away diagrams explaining mill engineering.

The process allowed for multiple reviews by stakeholders in the region, including time for incorporation of comments.

The Henley Company provided planning, original subject and image research, writing and editing, original art research and creation, and graphic design.
